Who am I?
I was born and raised in the heart of rural Ohio where my family still lives today. I started programming at 14, spent many years involved in the infosec/computer security scene, studied Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati, and lived in San Francisco before heading to Los Angeles.
Full Stack Engineer. Years of experience developing web applications, configuring systems, designing optimal pages, and starting and running profitable businesses.
I travel frequently, passionately seek new adventures, emerse myself in projects, and try to make the most of life.
Principal Skills & Interests
My core focus is in performance marketing: building, analyzing, and optimizing systems to convert PPC, SEO, and SEM traffic. I have built email campaign platforms, stats and affiliate systems, landing pages, high-performance web applications, and scores of lead-gen and e-commerece sites.
I have also worked on research and data teams, am very familiar with algorithm development and CS fundementals, and have spent years as part of Systems and Operations teams (so I know my way around optimizing high-load servers and databases). I primarily develop in Ruby, Rails, and JavaScript.
